COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP

We are having a wonderful response to this summer’s Community Theatre Camps! We are accepting registrations now!!!  Every July, Andrea and I lead an exciting drama experience for all our campers.  This will be our eighth summer!  We welcome all children and teens from our community, ages 6 to 17 years.  What will our scripts be about this summer???  What crazzzy story will we tell???  It’s still a surprise!

Besides having fun, our campers learn sooooooo much, especially in the areas of creativity, diction, listening for cues, – and the biggest of all – Confidence.  We guarantee an original fun script and a role for everyone.

Our camps fill up quickly, so please contact me if there is someone at your house who loves theatre and having lots of fun! There is a spot for all Drama Kings and Queens with Guelph United Performers!

Our two camps run the weeks of July 8 to 12; and July 22 to 26:   Morning Camp, 9:00 to noon –  6 to 10 year-olds.  Afternoon Camp, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – 11 to 17 year-olds.   Please contact me soon!

COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB

Weekly Community Theatre Club for all guys and gals, ages 11 to 16, Tuesday evenings, starting September 24, 2019, 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Our annual performance will take place the first weekend in March 2020.  If you think you might have the “theatre bug”, come and join us!

The Truette Family are spending the summer at Bamburg Castle in England. Driving around in their Bentleys and Land Rovers, and, of course, counting sheep!

COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The first practice for our fall session of Community Children’s Choir will take place Sunday morning, October 20, 2019, at 11:30 a.m., right after Thanksgiving. We will return with lots of energy, and ready to focus on seasonal music leading up to Christmas.  Again, we will sing at Trinity’s annual Christmas Cantata, as guests of the Trinity United Church Choir.

We run our choir sessions in separate, relatively short, blocks of time. This makes it easier for families to commit to attendance.  Attendance at practice every Sunday is really important  in order for our children to have a rewarding experience in our Community Choir.

We are always looking for boys and girls, ages 6 to 12, in our community who like to sing! We offer an opportunity to learn the joy of singing in an environment of love and fun.    There is no fee.  Just come and sing with us!!!
