Does your child enjoy music – – – Does he/she like to sing???

GUELPH UNITED PERFORMERS offer vocal lessons for children in our community!   We invite your son or daughter to be part of our COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR for children ages 7 to 14 years.   All singers in our community are most welcome to come and sing with us.  There is no fee.

Our COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR is led by Andrea LeBlanc.  Andrea is the Music Director at Trinity United Church, and is an award-winning teacher of piano and voice to both children and adults.  She is assisted by Barbara Moldenhauer.  Every effort is taken to choose music children love to sing.  Maybe modern, maybe not – maybe something from the movies, something with an environmental edge, and always with lots of love.  All practices will take place at Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson St. N., and will last 30 to 40 minutes.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE YOUR CHILD

THE JOY OF SONG, RHYTHM AND FUN

Our Spring Choir normally begins to practice after Easter.  This year, Easter falls a little later in the calendar.  Our 2025 Spring Session will practise on Sunday mornings at 11:30, beginning March 23; then, March 30; April 6, 13, (no practice Easter Sunday, April 20), 27; May 4, 11, (no practice May 18, Victoria Holiday Weekend), 25; June 1.   On May 4, at 7:00 p.m., COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR will perform at Trinity United Church as special guests at a fundraising event in support of Chalmers Community Services Centre in downtown Guelph.  On June 8, COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR will perform as Special Guests at Trinity United Church Sunday Morning Service at 10:00, and at Andrea LeBlanc’s Professional Student Recital at 7:00 p.m.   In total, our Spring Session will include 10 lessons, as well as three opportunities to perform their songs before an audience.

WE REQUEST YOUR COMMITMENT TO ATTENDANCE AT ALL PRACTICES IN ORDER FOR YOUR CHILD TO BENEFIT AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE.

To make it easier for families to commit to attendance, we offer our two choir sessions in separate, relatively short, blocks of time.  If you wish your singer to participate in COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR, we request your support to ensure he/she is available to be at choir practice on Sunday mornings.
