ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

  1. COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB – Fall weekly Tuesday evening program starts a little later this year, Tuesday evening, October 28, 2025, 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  2. COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR – We will be singing again after Thanksgiving, leading up to Christmas! FREE MUSIC LESSONS!  First Practice is Sunday, October 26, 2025.  Ages 7 to 14 years.     All practices at Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson St. N., 11:30 Sunday mornings! 
  3. COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP – All over for another year. Next year’s Camp Dates July 6 to 10 and July 20 to 24, 2026. Morning Camp, ages 6 to 10 years; Afternoon Camp, ages 11 to 16 years.   
COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB I know it’s still summer vacation, however, it’s time to also be thinking about what’s happening this fall!  GUP has an important announcement to make!  Cora Bent will be joining our team!  She will be at all our Tuesday evening practices and taking an assistant’s role in our program.  Cora has been an active participant in GUELPH UNITED PERFORMERS since she was a young child.  Many of you will know her already.  Her email address is 4corbent@gmail.com   If you have questions regarding Community Theatre Club, please contact Cora anytime. We are hoping all you young actors out there – ages 11 to 16 years – will think about joining us!    Just send Cora or me an e-mail to get your name on our “list”!   COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB will run throughout the fall and winter.  This year our amazing Director, Andrea LeBlanc, is unavailable until the end of October.   As a result, COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB will be starting Tuesday, October 28, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.  Total annual fee (this year only) is $400; payable $300 at registration; and $100 January 6, 2026.  If you think you might have the “theatre bug”, come and join us! There are compulsory dress rehearsals already booked for Saturday morning, February 21, 2026; 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and Sunday afternoon, March 1, 1026, 1:00 to 5:00.  Our annual performance will take place March 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.  Please be aware of these dates when booking winter vacations. COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR The first practice for our fall session of COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR will take place Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.  We will return with lots of energy, and ready to focus on seasonal music leading up to Christmas.  We will sing, as guests, at Trinity’s Sunday Morning Christmas Family Service at 10:00 a.m. on December 14, 2025.  As well, that same evening, our singers will join the Trinity Senior Choir at their annual Christmas Performance at 7:00 p.m. We run our choir sessions in separate, relatively short, blocks of time.  This makes it easier for families to commit to attendance.  Attendance at practice every Sunday is really important in order for our singers to have a rewarding experience in our Community Choir. We are looking for boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, in our community who like to sing!  We offer an opportunity to learn the joy of singing in an environment of love and fun.    There is no fee.  Just come and sing with us!!! COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP GUP COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP season 2025 was the BEST!!!!  Four Performances for our families and friends.  Morning Camp, ages 6 to 10, stared in A RAIL TAIL!   What an adventure that was travelling across Canada by train and meeting animals from every province and territory!  Our Afternoon Campers, ages 11 to 16, were amazing!  This year our actors starred in our first TV game show, CLEVER CANADA.  So much fun!   And, I think, we all just might have learned something about this vast and wonderful country we call home! Next summer, our Community Theatre Camps will run the weeks of July 6 to 10; and July 20 to 24, 2026:   Morning Camp, 9:00 to noon – 6-to-10-year-olds.  Afternoon Camp, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – 11-to-16-year-olds.   We start on Monday and invite family and friends to our Show on Friday!
