- COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR – FREE MUSIC LESSONS! Our practices began Sunday, November 2, 2025. Ages 7 to 14 years. All practices at Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson St. N., 11:30 Sunday mornings!
- COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP – All over for another year. Next year’s Camp Dates July 6 to 10 and July 20 to 24, 2026. Morning Camp, ages 6 to 10 years; Afternoon Camp, ages 11 to 16 years.
Our 2025/26 season has officially started. Cora Bent has joined our team, working with Andrea on Tuesday nights! Cora has been an active participant in GUELPH UNITED PERFORMERS since she was a young child. Many of you will know her already. Our young cast members are busy gaining confidence on stage, learning various drama techniques, and getting to know each other. This year’s script is still a secret, but coming soon!
COMMUNITY THEATRE CLUB will run throughout the fall and winter. There are compulsory dress rehearsals already booked for Saturday morning, February 21, 2026; 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and Sunday afternoon, March 1, 1026, 1:00 to 5:00. Our annual performance will take place March 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Please be aware of these dates when booking winter vacations.
COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR
The first practice for our fall session of COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR took place Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. We welcomed 40 young singers! A record number! We are full of energy and ready to focus on seasonal music leading up to Christmas. We will sing, as guests, at Trinity’s Sunday Morning Christmas Family Service at 10:00 a.m. on December 21, 2025. As well, that same evening, our singers will join the Trinity Senior Choir at their annual Christmas Performance at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and hear COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR at either or both of these events. No tickets required.
We always run our choir sessions in separate, relatively short, blocks of time. This makes it easier for families to commit to attendance. Attendance at practice every Sunday is really important in order for our singers to have a rewarding experience in our Community Choir.
We offer an opportunity to all children to learn the joy of singing in an environment of love and fun. There is no fee. Just come and sing with us!!!
COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP
GUP COMMUNITY THEATRE CAMP season 2025 was the BEST!!!! In July 2026, we will again be offering Morning Camp, ages 6 to 10, and Afternoon Camp, ages 11 to 16 years. Next summer, our Community Theatre Camps will run the weeks of July 6 to 10; and July 20 to 24, 2026: Morning Camp, 9:00 to noon – 6-to-10-year-olds. Afternoon Camp, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – 11-to-16-year-olds. We start on Monday and invite family and friends to our Show on Friday.
Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. We appreciate your telling other friends and families all about GUELPH UNITED PERFORMERS. If you have someone interested in any of our three programs, let me know early. They will be on my “list”!
